The current outlook for the 2024 IndyCar season with all the drivers and teams, driver changes and speculation for the cockpits still available
The 2024 IndyCar Series season will be the first to use hybrid engines. This opens up some new opportunities for the numerous teams with either Chevrolet or Honda engines, but also harbors risks, especially in the first season. It remains to be seen how mature the hybrid technology will be at the season opener.
The 2024 IndyCar calendar with 17 championship races and a show race for one million US dollars is available. In terms of the teams’ cockpit line-ups, there are one or two driver changes to report. However, not all cockpits for the new season have been allocated yet.
