The current outlook for the 2024 IndyCar season with all drivers and teams, driver changes and speculation for the still vacant cockpits
The 2024 IndyCar Series season will be the first to use hybrid engines. This opens up some new opportunities for the numerous teams with either Chevrolet or Honda powerplants, but also poses risks, especially in the first season. How mature the hybrid technology will be at the season opener remains to be seen.
The 2024 IndyCar calendar has not yet been published. However, there have already been one or two changes in the team line-ups. At the moment, however, not all the cockpits for the new season have been allocated.
