Improvement or PR stunt? EA SPORTS opens feedback portal for FC 24

EA SPORTS launched the beta version of a feedback portal for FC 24 on Tuesday. The developer wants players to have their say – some community members suspect other motives

Messi-Gate and Hegerberg faux pas in Ultimate Team, face glitch in career mode, 3vs3 glitch in Squad Battles: EA SPORTS has already made some curious mistakes in FC 24. In order to produce fewer mishaps in the future and offer players a better experience, the developer has launched the beta of a new feedback portal.

This is where feedback can be given on “several aspects of the game” in just “a few minutes”. The portal requires a login with the respective EA account that is also used to play FC 24. The publisher is “looking forward” to receiving feedback from its community. This, in turn, is still divided in its assessment.

“I really want to believe that this is a big win. But only time will tell,” comments content creator ‘Nick28T’ under the X-Post. He recalls the old forums for the FIFA titles, where “all efforts fell on deaf ears”. Nevertheless, the streamer hopes to EA SPORTS that the portal is “the start of open communication between us and you”.

“We as fans just want to be heard “

User ‘Maverick’, on the other hand, has a different theory – as do some other community members: “This is just something EA SPORTS can use to promote FC 25. So that they can then say: ‘We’ve taken the feedback into account and responded to the players’.”

The ‘Hainers’ account agrees that “it’s very difficult to be optimistic”. However, he draws the comparison to NHL, where the developers are “at least trying to fix the game”. He sees the opportunity for a “good exchange between EA SPORTS and the community”. He goes on to explain the importance of this: “As fans, we just want to be heard.”
