Bundesliga feeling in League of Legends. Hertha BSC Berlin and Eintracht Frankfurt met for the first time in the Strauss Prime League. Did Hertha defend their first place or did Eintracht pass them?
On Day 6 of Prime League Division 2, the air of the Bundesliga blew through the world of League of Legends (LoL). For the first time, two teams from the highest German football league met there. But it was not only this fact that promised a top match.
When Eintracht Frankfurt and Hertha BSC Berlin play each other in football, it promises to be a game with a lot of passion. Two traditional clubs that bring a large fan base with them. In terms of the standings, however, the outcome of this season would be clear beforehand. The ninth-placed team would meet the 14th-placed team.
SGE keeps up for a long time
The situation is different in the second division of the Prime League. There, the Berliners are already the league’s figurehead in their first season. The team from the capital still sails from the top of the table without losing a game.
Before the match, Eintracht started the race in second place, close on the heels of the Berliners. However, a rule seems to be establishing itself there: After two victories comes a defeat.
That was the case against Hertha, although the Hessians put up a brave fight for a long time. Accordingly, they kept the game open for the most part, but were unable to win the key moments.
Hertha in the decisive moments at the pressure
It was precisely in those that the “old lady” created an advantage and when it finally went towards the base, it was all over for the Frankfurt side. Overall, the Berliners always kept the upper hand, except in the early stages of the game: “We didn’t make any big mistakes and that was the key to success,” summed up Hertha’s Samet ‘Coldraa’ Safran.
If the base is finally destroyed, the attacking team wins the match. In this case, Hertha BSC Berlin managed to do just that and remain unchallenged. With a win rate of 100 per cent, they are currently well on their way to qualifying for the play-offs.
There, the two best teams will compete against the two worst teams for the places in the first division.
