“I’m someone who doesn’t come out of my shell so easily in a new environment, it always takes me a few weeks or months. I think it has definitely ‘clicked’ in the meantime. I feel extremely comfortable,” Havertz confirmed on Sky. “I love the club, I love the players, the staff and I love the fans. It was absolutely the right thing for me to do. “

Havertz is “extremely” happy with Leverkusen
Havertz, who won the Champions League under Thomas Tuchel in 2021, believes “Bayern’s season wasn’t as bad as it was made out to be. A month or so ago, when the top game was between Leverkusen and Bayern, Leverkusen hadn’t lost a game in the season and Bayern were still only two points behind. Sure, it’s a bit bigger now, but I think they’ll be fully focused on the Champions League now.”
