Hardly any Bundesliga presence: Only one real coach in EA SPORTS FC 25

In FC 25, the selection of real Bundesliga coaches in career mode is not particularly abundant. Only one is available.

With the 1:5 at VfB Stuttgart, Borussia Dortmund’s start to the season has been dealt a pretty big blow. The coaching staff and the team now have four days to draw conclusions from the defeat – and do better.

You can give the new head coach of BVB in EA SPORTS FC 25 much more pleasant days. The former midfielder can be selected as a “real coach” – with him you can start a career instead of your own avatar and get off to a great start to the season. The same applies to a number of other coaches, who are faithfully reproduced.

2. Liga goes completely empty-handed

Only fans of the clubs from the 2nd Bundesliga and the remaining first division clubs are still left out in the cold. As in the last installments, the BVB coach is alone in the cold. Kompany, Hasenhüttl, Eichner, Geraerts? None of them. The Belgian in particular would be an interesting option, as he was fired after the 3-5 loss to SV Darmstadt 98. In FC 25, you would have the opportunity to write a different story.

It is somewhat surprising that Vincent Kompany or Ralph Hasenhüttl are not in the game. After all, the two were faithfully depicted in their Premier League days – so they would be in the database. Why EA SPORTS has dispensed with this and only provides Sahin remains a mystery.

The situation in the 3rd division is different. There you can select all coaches. It is unclear whether further Bundesliga coaches will be added via update, but last year this was not the case.

Optical faux pas at Flick

In EA SPORTS FC 24, EA SPORTS caused a stir in the 3rd division with a double mistake. SV Sandhausen, who were relegated from the second division at the time, listed Gerhard Kleppinger, who was actually Danny Galm’s assistant coach at the start of the season. In addition, the developer gave the 65-year-old a visual makeover.

In contrast, EA SPORTS has made Hansi Flick look older, mainly because of his beard. Normally, the FC Barcelona coach has a three-day beard – in the game, it is a full grey beard throughout. This not only makes the Heidelberg-born coach look older, but also makes him look unusual.
