Norway won a friendly match clearly with 9:0 against Arminia on Tuesday. Dortmund’s Erling Haaland scored twice, but also injured himself. Now there was a first diagnosis.
Haaland was on the pitch for the Norwegians until half-time and also scored twice. After his second goal just before the break, when he made it 5:0, the attacker had to be treated. After the second half, the stricken BVB attacker did not return to the field.

“That was a tough half for Erling. There was a lot of blood on the ankle, so we’re taking it easy on him,” co-coach Kent Bergersen told TV2 during the break. So that can certainly be interpreted as an all-clear.
In a friendly match, there was no need to keep the top scorer on the field, especially since the score was already 5-0. After the break, Norway continued to score, King, Nürnberg’s Möller Daehli and twice Sörloth ensured the clear 9:0 final score.
It is not possible to say at the moment whether Haaland will play in the Bundesliga match against Leipzig on Saturday evening. Haaland has been absent since 22 January due to muscle problems in the adductor area. The 21-year-old celebrated his comeback in the 1-0 win against Bielefeld (13 March), and the BVB goalscorer was back in the starting eleven for the first time in the 1-1 draw in Cologne on the last matchday.
