As the Bundesliga continues its short break, there have been only marginal changes in the Golden Shoe Ranking overall. Mo Salah, for example, moved closer to Robert Lewandowski.
At the top, everything remained the same in the hunt for the Golden Shoe: Ohi Omoijuanfo (Molde) has 27 goals and 40.5 points to his name. Thomas Lehne Olsen (Lilleström) has 26 goals and 39 points. However, both will not be able to improve their record, so they will lose their positions at the top in the New Year.
First chaser is still Robert Lewandowski, even though the FC Bayern attacker is currently unable to sign – the Bundesliga is on break, Lewandowski accordingly remains third with 19 goals and thus 38 points.
Benzema eighth, Haaland outside top 10
In the top ten, Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah’s goal in the 2-2 draw with Chelsea moved him into fifth place – level with Patrik Schick (Bayer 04 Leverkusen) and Dusan Vlahovic (AC Florence). Karim Benzema of Real Madrid slipped to eighth place as a result. Just outside the top 10: Erling Haaland of Borussia Dortmund as well as Ciro Immobile of Lazio Roma in “shared” eleventh place with 13 goals and 26 points each.
