Bundesliga club MLP Academics Heidelberg has signed US guard Michael Weathers. League rival Ludwigsburg announces a contract extension and a departure
The Heidelberg club announced on Wednesday that guard Michael Weathers has signed with the Neckar club. The professional from the USA signed a contract until the summer of 2026, the club announced. The agreement includes a mutual option after the first year of the contract. The 26-year-old Weathers comes from the Austrian club Kosterneuburg Dukes.
Buie leaves Ludwigsburg
The MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg have extended the contract of point guard Johannes Patrick by a further year. The 22-year-old son of head coach John Patrick will now remain in Ludwigsburg until 2025, the club announced on Wednesday. The 1.86-meter-tall pro comes from the MHP Riesen’s youth ranks and is entering his eleventh season with the club.
