Former European amateur champion Abass Baraou has now secured the professional title
Professional boxer Abass Baraou (Berlin) has been crowned European champion.
The 29-year-old defeated local hero Sam Eggington on points late on Friday evening in Telford, England, to secure the vacant super welterweight title.
In addition, Baraou, who was already European champion in the amateurs and third in the World Championships in 2017, now has the chance to challenge the WBA World Champion
