2023 had been canceled by the Austrian publisher, but this year THQ Nordic is celebrating its “big return” to gamescom. Three titles in focus have already been announced – but there’s more in store
After a one-year absence, THQ Nordic is celebrating its comeback at gamescom 2024 from August 21 to 25. The publisher announced this on Thursday via social media. Fans can be hopeful that the Austrian company will present a similarly opulent show stand as it did last time in 2022. One year later, the too thin line-up did not justify a costly appearance in Cologne.
As part of the gamescom announcement, THQ Nordic has already announced three games that will be in the spotlight: Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, the remake of Gothic and Titan Quest II. Based on the corresponding X-Post, it can also be assumed that two further titles will be presented. These are to be unveiled on August 2 as part of the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase
THQ also open for business
In addition to the stand in Hall 7.1 of the Entertainment Area, THQ Nordic will also be active in the Business Area for partners, press and content creators. gamescom 2024 kicks off on August 20 with the traditional Opening Night Live stage show.
