Gadecki and Peers win Australian Open mixed doubles final

The Australian mixed doubles team beat two compatriots in the final in Melbourne. The decision was made in the match tiebreak.

Australian tennis players Olivia Gadecki and John Peers have won the mixed doubles final at the Australian Open. The mixed doubles team beat their compatriots Kimberly Birrell and John-Patrick Smith 10-6 in the match tiebreak. After losing the first set 6-3, Gadecki/Peers went on to win the second 6-4 at Rod Laver Arena.
