On Saturday, the “Gypsy King” will defend his WBC title against Dillian Whyte at London’s Wembley Stadium. 94,000 spectators will watch the duel between the WBC world heavyweight champion and his former sparring partner.
If Fury has his way, a very special guest will also be present. At the very least, the 33-year-old has offered that Anthony Joshua of all people – along with his promoter Eddie Hearn – could be in his corner.
“Yeah, they’re invited, they can be my guests. I’ve got a couple of tickets there,” he extended the invitation on iFL TV – though not without a dig at Joshua: “I’ll give Eddie one of my ticket allotment and AJ two because he needs two – as fat as he is these days!”

After that, he got a little more conciliatory towards Joshua. “He can help me in the corner if he wants. I know he doesn’t like Dillian Whyte, so he can if he wants to,” alluding to the 2015 fight when Joshua sent his opponent Whyte to the boards.
At the same time, Fury stressed that a fight against AJ would probably be out of the question. The latter had had the chance to fight often enough, but because of his greed it had not happened. Fury himself could live with it, however, because “in what world could he ever have beaten me? There’s no discussion about that. It’s not an exciting fight. “
