Fürth postpones general meeting

The new Corona regulations in Bavaria are also shaking up the schedule of SpVgg Greuther Fürth: The Bundesliga club postponed its general meeting.

On Wednesday, a new corona protection ordinance will come into force in the Free Stateof Bavariawhich will be adapted to the current heightened pandemic situation and contain tightening measures. This and the recent decisions of the Bavarian state parliament have prompted the SpVgg Geuther Fürth to postpone the general meeting of members scheduled for Thursday evening.

According to the 15th Infection Protection Measures Ordinance of the State of Bavaria, which came into force on Wednesday, the general meeting of members was subject to the 2G-plus regulation. This would mean that all participants would have to present a negative test result in addition to their vaccinated or recovered status.

Last week, the club had already decided to withdraw the motions to change the statutes and to found a fan department because of the current Corona situation. Both are now to be decided at the general meeting, which has been postponed until the new year.
