Paris Saint-Germain faces a tough job in the hunt for a spot in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. The French star ensemble will take on Real Madrid in the eighth finals of the billion-dollar ball, according to a renewed draw. During the first attempt , Real Madrid was linked to Benfica, now Ajax’s opponent.
Seven of the eight posters have changed. Only the clash between Chelsea and LOSC Lille remained. All other fourteen participants had a different opponent. The most beautiful poster is the one between PSG and Real Madrid, but Atrlético Madrid – Manchester United is also very beautiful. It marks the return of Ronaldo to Madrid, where he became the all-time top scorer of the tournament at Real.
For Sergio Ramos, the eighth finals, provided he is fit, will be memorable. With PSG, he will take on Real Madrid, the club he served as captain for many years and where he won several awards. Villarreal is also preparing for a nice clash. Arnaut Danjuma will try to score against the Juventus of fellow international Matthijs de Ligt.
Bayern Munich will be happy that the draw has been done again. The Germans were initially linked to the very strong Atlético Madrid, but are now taking on FC Salzburg. The Austrians seem to be the weakest participant of the eighth finals in advance.
