Tennis player Anna-Lena Friedsam has missed the final of the WTA tournament in Portoroz, Slovenia.
The 28-year-old lost to Czech Katerina Siniakova 1-6, 5-7 in the preliminary round. On her way to the semi-finals, Friedsam had surprisingly knocked out British number one seed Emma Raducanu, among others.
Siniakova will play the final against Elena Rybakina from Kazakhstan. The tournament is endowed with a total of 251,750 US dollars.
