Frankfurt’s next home games in front of up to 40,000 spectators

Eintracht Frankfurt will be able to play its next two home games against Royal Antwerp FC and 1. FC Union Berlin in front of up to 40,000 spectators

The Frankfurt team announced this in a press release on Friday. The health authority had approved a corresponding application by Eintracht. Accordingly, the 3G-Plus concept applies to a maximum of ten per cent of spectators, whereby fans with a negative PCR test are admitted to the stadium in addition to vaccinated and recovered fans. For the remaining spectators, the 2G concept applies.

Children and young people between the ages of seven and 17 are exempt from this regulation; a negative rapid antigen test is sufficient for them. Any proof is not required for children up to and including the age of six.

Frankfurt will face Royal Antwerp in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday 25 November, and three days later Eintracht will host Union Berlin in the Bundesliga.
