Formula 1 weather 2024: The forecast for the race in Brazil

The current weather forecast for the 21st race weekend of the 2024 Formula 1 season at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace in Sao Paulo

These are the crucial questions on every race weekend of the 2024 Formula 1 season. Namely: What is the weather forecast? Can wet conditions be expected on site? Do you need intermediates or even wet weather tires? Or will it just stay dry from practice to qualifying to the race, making dry weather tires sufficient? In short, what should the drivers Nico Hülkenberg, Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton be prepared for?

To answer these questions, our editors keep a close eye on the weather at the Formula 1 venues for a few days before the start of the tests or race weekends. And as the event progresses, this preview article is updated with new information about the weather, such as temperature in degrees Celsius, wind strength, cloud cover and expected precipitation for each day of the weekend.

The result is a weather forecast that is as accurate as possible for the respective Grands Prix of the 2024 Formula 1 season. However, all information is provided without guarantee, as some motorsport locations, such as Spa-Francorchamps or the Nürburgring, are known for having particularly changeable weather that cannot always be accurately predicted. There may also be unannounced precipitation there.

The next time Formula 1 takes to the track will be in Sao Paulo, from November 1st to 3rd for the Brazilian Grand Prix, the 21st race of the year.
