Marc Gasol, together with his brother Pau, is one of the best Spanish basketball players of all time. Both are regarded as legends in their country. Now the 39-year-old Marc has also ended his active career. He last played for his own club Basquet Girona in Spain’s second division.
His great basketball career began in Spain with FC Barcelona. He then made the big step to the NBA in 2008, where he played for the Memphis Grizzlies. He stayed there until 2019 and became one of the franchise’s greatest players.
