Fabienne Morlok and FOKUS are staying true to each other. As the team and player announced on social media on Monday, the “Queen of FIFA” has extended her expiring contract
“At the start since 2020 and no end in sight. We are delighted to extend our long-term contract with the multiple Eligella Cup winner ahead of schedule,” reads the brief statement with which FOKUS clarifies Fabienne ‘Fabienne XIII’ Morlok’s sporting future. The “Queen of FIFA” stays with FOKUS.
Successful journey with “special team” continues
“I am incredibly happy with the early and long-term extension with FOKUS. I was particularly pleased that FOKUS once again sought talks with me so early on,” Morlok commented on the contract extension to eSport. “I’ve been with FOKUS since day one of my eSports career and I still feel very comfortable, so I’m happy to continue to be part of this special team and continue on this exciting journey.”
In her time with the organization, which is headed by streamer Elias ‘EliasN97’ Nerlich, Morlok has already achieved some notable successes. These include winning the SheSports Cup with Germany, finishing runner-up in the first global offline tournament for female FIFA eSports players and the first victory for a woman in a Global Series event. Now more chapters are to be written in the joint success story.
