Posing alone for the FIFA 23 Standard cover in Australia and New Zealand is Sam Kerr – Mbappé takes on the rest of the world.
With the latest announcement, all cover releases have sprung from the EA SPORTS surprise bag. Yesterday, the Canadian developer announced that Kylian Mbappé and Samatha Kerr will jointly grace the global cover of FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition.
The FIFA 23 Standard Edition will now feature one of each of the two greats of international football.
Nostalgic touches
Samantha Kerr takes over the cover of the Standard Edition in her home country of Australia as well as in New Zealand and on the exclusive Amazon version. The Australian national team’s record goalscorer has been the figurehead of Australian football for years.
“It’s an honour and a dream come true to be on the cover of FIFA 23,” said Sam Kerr. “It’s been incredible working with Kylian and the entire EA SPORTS team and I can’t wait for fans to get their hands on a copy of the game. “
French international Kylian Mbappé walks on the standard edition covers in the rest of the world.
EA SPORTS has a good relationship with Kylian Mbappé, he shares the Canadian developer’s social views and is one of the best footballers in the world. He said this collaboration should continue in FIFA 23.
“I am very happy to be on the cover of EA SPORTS FIFA for the third time and even more happy to share the cover with a great player like Sam Kerr in honour of women’s football,” said Kylian Mbappé. “As a huge fan of the game, I’m looking forward to the latest FIFA and I can’t wait to see you all on the pitch. “
After 30 years of the FIFA series, EA SPORTS is once again returning to the design of the late 1990s, early 2000s with the white colour scheme and the central circle for the finale. From a nostalgic point of view, this is certainly not the worst choice.
