FC 24 career mode: the most bought players – surprising name on second place

How does the world play FC 24? Publisher EA SPORTS provides information about this and collects data. Among them the most purchased players in career mode, among which is an initially surprising name

The publisher took the one-month anniversary of EA SPORTS FC 24 as an opportunity to publish figures about the game. Among other things, EA SPORTS collected data on the most purchased players in career mode. However, only a ranking list was published, there was no concrete information.

Last year still jewel – this season frequent transfer wish

Currently, Alejandro Garnacho is causing quite a stir. In the Champions League match against FC Copenhagen, there was a penalty kick for the Danes in the 97th minute. Before the penalty was taken, the Argentine made a mess of the penalty spot – earning criticism from the opponent. In EA SPORTS FC 24, the Madrid-born winger is also in the spotlight – as one of the most transferred players. Unsurprisingly, although the left winger has “only” 75 as his overall rating, appearances are deceptive. His potential is 88, moreover, he excels with his speed (86 acceleration, 83 sprint) and also already has a high offensive work rate.

The 19-year-old’s market value is estimated at 13.5 million euros in FC 24, so he is definitely good value for money. Only the salary would have to be a larger sum on the check: Around 54,000 euros per week he currently earns in the game at Manchester United.

Best midfielder in the world drops to fourth place

Number four is probably the best midfielder in the world at the moment – Jude Bellingham. In comparison to FIFA 23 the former Dortmund player loses a few places. The Englishman made it to the top of this ranking last year. There are two reasons for this. Firstly, his market value increased after his transfer to Real Madrid. This rose in FC 24 from 81.5 million to 112 million euros – the salary multiplied from 44,000 to 190,000 euros per week. On the other hand, Bellingham has just moved from BVB to the Spanish capital. Accordingly, you would have to wait a season for a purchase.

With the 20-year-old now playing in Spain, the Bundesliga loses a potential player for this ranking. Nevertheless, Germany’s highest division is represented. From FC Bayern Munich, Alphonso Davies is very often on the wish list of virtual managers, according to EA SPORTS. This is probably mainly due to the fact that the left-back is as fast as an arrow in the soccer simulation. With 96 in acceleration and 94 in sprinting, the Canadian can cause quite a stir on the flank. What sounds quite offensive is backed up by his high work rates in attack, but low for defense.

Europa League winner surprises – first place, on the other hand, does not

At first glance, it’s surprising that Jesus Corona made it to second place. However, a look at the Mexican’s CV reveals why. The 30-year-old moved from Sevilla FC to CF Monterrey on 01 September. Accordingly, the winger is available on a free transfer. Given his values almost a “must-have”: five star special ratings and on the weak foot, a very good dribbling (85) and high speed (82 acceleration, 81 sprint).

From cheap to expensive – from second place to first place. This currently goes to Kylian Mbappé in FC 24. Together with Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne, the Frenchman is one of the strongest players in the soccer simulation. However, this also comes at a price. The 2018 world champion’s market value in FC 24 is around 181.5 million euros, while at Paris St. Germain the 24-year-old earns around 230,000 euros per week in the game. Those who do not have so much money and possibly no chance of signing Corona – can resort to talents. Here is a selection of cheap jewels in FC 24.
