Formula 1 has already entered a new era with the rule changes. The announcement of F1 22 is followed in July by EA’s video game interpretation of the busy racing circus.
The top class of motorsport has been driving around the world’s racetracks with a new formula since March. Above all, the concept changes to the cars and rules should enable closer duels and more exciting races.
Publisher EA SPORTS and developer Codemasters are therefore also heralding a “new era” with F1 22. The shortened title is striking, as all previous parts still bore the complete year. The official video game for the FIA Formula 1 World Championship 2022 was announced on Thursday after a 30-hour countdown on EA’s website with a short trailer.
However, it did not reveal much – only the 2021 Formula 1 show car was shown in strobe lighting. F1 22 is scheduled for release on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X
