When is the draw for the knock-out round play-offs?
The Play-offs of the 2021/22 UEFA Europa League knockout roundswill be drawn on 13 December at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland. The ceremony will begin at 1pm.
Which teams are in the draw?
There are 16 teams in the draw. The eight runners-up from the Europa League group stage are seeded, the eight third-placed teams from the Champions League group stage are unseeded.

How does the draw work?
The group runners-up of the Europa League have to meet a group third from the Champions League. The seeded teams play the second leg at home. Clubs from the same association cannot meet.

When are the knockout round play-offs?
The first legs of the knockout round play-offs will take place on 17 February, the second legs a week later on 24 February – on Thursdays.
