England – Spain Preview

The English players will receive a heroes’ welcome in what will most assuredly be a ruckus atmosphere at Wembley when these two sides take the pitch. The young Three Lions weren’t expected to go far but nearly reached the 2018 World Cup final, losing in extra-time to Croatia in the semis.

This generation, led by captain Harry Kane, will look to keep the momentum going against one of World Cup’s disappointments, Spain. You all know the story by now. Lopetegui signed with Real Madrid, initiating a sequence of events where the result of which was Luis Enrique becoming Spain’s new national team coach. The former manager for Barcelona will try to put his stamp on this vastly experienced squad and put it back on the right track.
