EA SPORTS FC 24 soon to be free with PlayStation Plus subscription

PlayStation Plus subscribers will not only be able to follow the 2024 European Championship – they will be able to replay it themselves. EA SPORTS FC 24 will be available for free via the service from May 7

The biggest and longest FUT promo ever is currently running with the Team of the Season – the Bundesliga TOTS will be released on Friday evening. Fittingly, EA SPORTS FC 24 is one of four games that will soon be available for free via PlayStation Plus. Between May 7 and June 17, the soccer simulation can be downloaded at no extra charge over and above the subscription costs.

PlayStation Plus costs 9 euros per month in the basic “Essential” version and can be canceled at any time. So if you still want to play EA SPORTS FC 24 in the fall of its term, a single month could be worth it. This is because the title is currently still significantly more expensive on most platforms.

EM mode coming for FC 24

In addition to the Team of the Season, gamers can also look forward to the opportunity to replay the upcoming European Football Championship themselves this summer. EA SPORTS is releasing free additional content for EURO 2024, including the tournament mode and the national teams. PlayStation Plus subscribers who download FC 24 from May 7 will also have access to this content.

The service’s four May games also include the action adventures Ghostrunner 2 and Tunic as well as the first-person shooter expansion Destiny 2: Lightfall. Meanwhile, Immortals of Aveum, Minecraft Legends and Skul: The Hero Slayer can still be added to the games library until May 6. Like FC 24, the former comes from EA and is considered one of the publisher’s biggest commercial flops. It might be worth taking a look at a rare financial EA debacle for free
