DTM 2025: Manthey shows “Oranje design” for the Morris Schuring Porsche

Manthey has revealed the design for Morris Schuring’s third Porsche 911 GT3 R: The Dutchman will race in “Oranje” and with starting number 92

The DTM will shine in orange in 2025! Manthey has unveiled the design for the third Porsche 911 GT3 R with which Morris Schuring will start his first DTM season. The young Dutchman will not only represent his team, but above all his national colors.

Because the striking front of the car glows in a bold orange, which turns into a simple black towards the rear. The design integrates the characteristic arrow elements of Manthey, which also adorn the two cars of Thomas Preining and Ayhancan Güven.

Schuring will compete for the Manthey Junior Team in the 2025 DTM season and will be chasing points with the number 92. The Dutchman is no stranger to Manthey: last year, he finished second overall with the team in the LMGT3 classification of the World Endurance Championship (WEC) and celebrated a class victory at the Le Mans 24 Hours.

Schuring previously competed in the Porsche one-make cups, where he held the record for the youngest winner in the history of the one-make cup for a time. Schuring is now making history again with his DTM debut: no Dutchman before him was younger when he entered the traditional series.

“I’ve got a lot of fire in me”

“As a young driver, I obviously have a lot of fire in me,” grins Schuring, for whom a dream has come true by entering the DTM. ‘Nevertheless, I’m a driver with a clever driving style and don’t get involved in any rash maneuvers.’

He proved last weekend that he has what it takes to hold his own against strong competition: at the season opener of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), he and Sven Müller drove the Falken Porsche to overall victory, a perfect way to kick off the DTM.

The youngster, who recently made the leap into the Porsche works team, is predicted to have a successful future in motorsport. And maybe he will bring the Dutch national colors all the way to the front in the 2025 DTM season…
