DFB Cup: These quarter-final matches will be shown on free-to-air TV

Three of the four quarter-final matches in the DFB Cup will be broadcast live on free-to-air TV

On Tuesday, ZDF started off by broadcasting the second division clash between FC St. Pauli and Fortuna Düsseldorf, which Fortuna won dramatically 4:3 on penalties. The second quarter-final duel between two second-division clubs, Hertha BSC and 1. FC Kaiserslautern, will follow on Sky on Wednesday (from 8.45 p.m.).

On Tuesday, February 6 (8:45 p.m.), ARD will show the top match between Bayer 04 Leverkusen and VfB Stuttgart.

The following day (from 8.45 p.m.), third division side 1. FC Saarbrücken and Borussia Mönchengladbach will meet in the final match, which will also be broadcast on ZDF. The pay-TV channel Sky will broadcast all matches live.

For the first time, the four matches will be played on different days. Although this had already been decided for the 2022/23 season as part of the new DFB Cup TV contract, it could not be implemented at the time due to the Winter World Cup in Qatar
