Defending champion Frances Tiafoe and last year’s finalist Jan-Lennard Struff will be back at the tennis tournament in Stuttgart this summer. This was announced by the organizers of the grass court event.
Last year, the American Tiafoe beat Struff from Warstein 4:6, 7:6 (7/1), 7:6 (10/8) in a thrilling final. The German number two is still waiting for her first title win
Alexander Zverev had already confirmed his participation in the grass tournament from June 10 to 16. However, whether the Olympic champion will actually be in Stuttgart depends on his performance at the French Open. The second Grand Slam tournament of the season ends on Sunday before the start of the Boss Open.
