The pairings of the DFB Cup Round of 16 have now been scheduled with exact times, three of which will be broadcast on free-TV.
Football fans from Hamburg and Berlin in particular will get their money’s worth in January when the Cup Round of 16 is scheduled. In agreement with the broadcasting TV stations, the DFB has now scheduled the round of the last 16 precisely.
While all eight matches can be seen as usual on Sky, Sport1 will show the traditional duel between 1. FC Köln and Hamburger SV live on Tuesday, 18 January (6.30 pm). On the same day (8.45 p.m.), ARD will show the match between current second-division leaders FC St. Pauli and defending champions Borussia Dortmund. On Wednesday, 19 January (8.45 p.m.), the focus is on the capital city derby in Berlin’s Olympiastadion – ARD will broadcast the match between Hertha BSC and 1. FC Union.
