AC Milan will have to do without Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the next few days. The Swedish veteran is thus also in danger of missing an important cup match.
Italian media reported on Tuesday that Ibrahimovic is suffering from a left knee strain and is expected to be out for at least ten days.
Thus, the 40-year-old Swede will surely miss Friday’s league match against CFC Genoa. And the cup match next Tuesday at Inter Milan will probably not be played either. Both Milanese clubs meet in the semi-finals, the first leg ended 0-0.
Ibrahimovic has been plagued by injuries time and again this season. In the league, however, he still manages 19 games, scoring eight goals.
