The striker has been infected with the corona virus and is currently in quarantine, the team from Lower Saxony reported on their website. The obligatory test on Lukebakio on Wednesday morning showed an unclear result, further tests finally confirmed an infection.
Lukebakio has played 13 league games for Wolfsburg so far this season. The 24-year-old ex-Herthaner has scored one goal and set up four others.
