The captain is back on board: On Thursday, Marco Reus took part in team training again after his forced break.
In good spirits, the 32-year-old put on his shoes on the edge of the training pitch and then completed the unit with his teammates.
The captain was absent due to illness during the last English week’s triple-header with two wins against Arminia Bielefeld and at Mainz 05 (both 1-0) as well as the draw at 1. FC Köln (1-1), and earlier during the 1-1 draw at Augsburg due to a horse-foot on his thigh.
With around a week and a half to go until the upcoming game against RB Leipzig, Reus therefore has plenty of time to get fully fit for the top-of-the-table clash.
The offensive player was not nominated for the DFB national team during the substitution period.
