Erling Haaland (21) will again be unavailable to Borussia Dortmund against Augsburg on Saturday. Things are looking better for one of his team-mates.
Erling Haaland will have to continue to be patient. The Norwegian, who already missed last weekend in Gladbach (0:1) and during the week against Sporting (1:0), will also be absent on Saturday (15:30, LIVE! at kicker) against Augsburg.
As BVB coach Marco Rose announced on Friday, Haaland is still plagued by muscular problems. “He has tried it, but the pain is still too strong,” Rose said. The attacker himself tweeted shortly afterwards: “I can’t play tomorrow. I’m injured. I’ll be right back.”
While Giovanni Reyna must also continue to watch, things are looking better for Emre Can. “He’ll be there tomorrow,” Rose said of the German international, who has only played a few minutes so far this Bundesliga season in the 1:2 draw at Freiburg.
