The Dallas Mavericks bounced back nicely from their emphatic loss at the Golden State Warriors to win their away game against the Portland Trail Blazers. The 132-112 win on Wednesday night (local time) was the 28th victory for the team around national basketball player Maxi Kleber and the sixth from the past eight games. Kleber scored twelve points, the best scorer for the Texans was Kristaps Porzingis with 22 points.

Clippers turn game around again – Cavs pull past Nets
One day after the biggest comeback in their history, the Los Angeles Clippers also turned around a deficit against the Orlando Magic. Despite being down 14 points at one point, Isaiah Hartenstein and his Clippers rallied to beat the Magic 111-102 with brothers Franz and Moritz Wagner. Franz Wagner was the best scorer of the game with 21 points, but could not prevent his team’s 40th defeat of the season. “We fouled too much in the last quarter,” Wagner said.
The Brooklyn Nets slipped to fourth place in the Eastern Conference. Their 118-124 loss to the Denver Nuggets and the Cleveland Calaviers’ 115-99 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks were to blame. Cleveland is now third behind leaders Miami Heat and the Chicago Bulls, who won 110-96 against the New York Knicks. The Nets played without the injured Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, ineligible to play because of missing his vaccination, and James Harden, who got a rest to rest a minor injury.

The Charlotte Hornets’ 158-126 loss to the Indiana Pacers was the NBA’s highest-scoring game so far this season. The Hornets hit 24 three-pointers. LaMelo Ball recorded 29 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds for his fourth triple double of the season. Kelly Oubre Jr. (39 points) sank ten threes coming off the bench, setting a personal best.
