Brian Brobbey back in RB team training

After a good three-week injury break, striker Brian Brobbey (19) returned to team training at RB Leipzig on Monday.

The newcomer from Ajax Amsterdam suffered a torn muscle fibre in his thigh on 8 October in the European Championship qualifying match of the Dutch U 21 in Switzerland (2:2), it was already his second muscle injury since his arrival in Leipzig.

This is another reason why Brobbey has only made six substitute appearances and 89 minutes in total for RB in competitive matches so far.

In view of the long period of absence, Brobbey is not yet an option for Wednesday’s Champions League match against Paris St. Germain. It is possible that a place in the squad beckons on Saturday in the Bundesliga home match against Borussia Dortmund.
