Eintracht Braunschweig will have to do without Maurice Multhaup in the coming weeks
Midfielder Multhaup (24) suffered a bone bruise in the third-division duel with SV Meppen (5-0), BTSV announced via Twitter on Wednesday.
This was the result of a detailed examination of the injured left knee joint. Multhaup, who has played 18 games for the ambitious Lions so far this season, will be out for four to six weeks, according to BTSV.
The second-placed Lower Saxony side face Viktoria Köln away on Saturday before facing 1. FC Kaiserslautern in a clash of two former German champions at home at the end of the year. Multhaup will certainly miss both of these games.
