Brose Bamberg have signed former NBA player Justin Wright-Foreman.
As the Upper Franconians announced on Tuesday, the 24-year-old US-American comes from the Birmingham Squadrons, the junior team of the New Orleans Pelicans. “Justin is a shooter. He exudes a winning mentality,” says Bamberg coach Oren Amiel about the newcomer, who will receive a one-year contract at Brose.
Wright-Foreman played four games in the NBA for the Utah Jazz in 2020. The 1.87-metre shooting guard then moved to France and Turkey, among other countries. He was also a member of the US national team, for which he contributed an average of twelve points in two World Cup qualifying games.
“I’m a fighter, energetic, a team player and I want to win every game by any means necessary. We have to put our heart and soul into every game and make Bamberg a powerhouse,” said Wright-Foreman.
The current Brose Bamberg squad for the 2022/23 season:
Amir Bell, Tyreese Blunt, Jaromir Bohacik, Leon Bulic, Gabriel Chachashvili, Patrick Heckmann, Spencer Reaves, Christian Sengfelder, Jannis Sonnefeld, Kevin Wohlrath, Justin Wright-Foreman
