Novak Djokovic already holds many records. Now the Serb has added another one
Novak Djokovic has taken another record from his old rival Roger Federer. At 36 years and 321 days, the Serb is now the oldest tennis player ever to be ranked number one in the world. Federer was one day younger when he last topped the rankings in the summer of 2018. The Swiss ended his career in 2022.
Djokovic has now held the number one spot for a total of 420 weeks in his career – also a record. The Serb, who is also the record Grand Slam champion with 24 titles, is competing at the Masters 1000 event in Monte-Carlo this week
