Also with Celtic Glasgow: Next partnership announced for UFL

Just before the first gameplay reveal, Strikerz Inc. announce another partnership for UFL. Traditional club Celtic Glasgow will be available in the free-to-play football game.

Developers and publishers Strikerz Inc. are still only releasing dribs and drabs of information about their upcoming football game UFL. The free-to-play simulation is scheduled for release later this year, with gameplay shown for the first time at the end of January. In the meantime, individual licenses continue to be announced.

After a number of illustrious names, such as Borussia Mönchengladbach, Besiktas Istanbul, Sporting Lisbon or Schachtar Donetsk, a partnership with another traditional club has now been announced: Celtic Glasgow will become an official partner of UFL.

“We are delighted to be partnering with Strikerz Inc. “

In addition to the top Scottish club, there is now a resounding array of names in the upcoming football simulation. Like the clubs mentioned, Celtic Glasgow will also be fully licensed in the game.

Adrian Filby, Celtic F.C. Commercial Director, expresses a certain euphoria about the collaboration: “We are delighted to be partnering with Strikerz Inc. Celtic gaming fans from around the world will have the opportunity to play this new title and see their club represented and licensed in it. We look forward to embarking on this journey.”

Even with this announcement, no footage from the game has been shown yet. The first gameplay trailer this month is highly anticipated, to date only minimal clips of stadium and player renderings have been shown. The most direct glimpse of the game’s visuals came via the announcements of several in-game ambassadors, such as Liverpool FC’s Roberto Firmino and, most recently, Chelsea FC’s Romelu Lukaku.
