Tennis pro Yannick Hanfmann has reached the last 16 at the ATP tournament in Kitzbühel.
The 30-year-old from Weinheim benefited in the first round from the retirement of his Austrian opponent Gerald Melzer at 6:4, 1:1 from Hanfmann’s point of view. He will now face Tallon Griekspoor of the Netherlands in the round of the best 16 at the clay court event, which is endowed with 534,555 euros. Hanfmann is the only German in the main draw of Kitzbühel.
