Peter Hyballa (45) is no longer coach at Türkgücü Munich The club made the announcement on Tuesday
He was first asked about it after the recent 0:2 in Braunschweig. “I don’t know “, Peter Hyballa replied irritably when asked if he still had a future in Munich. “I don’t know, I don’t care.” A few days later, the 45-year-old was dismissed as Türkgücü coach.
“The results of the past games as well as the table picture that had developed recently have moved us to end our joint path with Peter Hyballa at this point,” explained managing director Max Kothny.
Hyballa only took over the job at the end of September and celebrated a 2-1 win against Borussia Dortmund II to start the season. Since then, there has been another three wins and five defeats, and Türkgücü was also knocked out of the regional cup against regional league side Aubstadt.
The Munich team, which was tenth in the table when Hyballa took over, is now only 16th and two points above the line. “In the coming days, we will think intensively about the line of approach for the coming weeks and months so that we can present a suitable successor,” Kothny continued.
For the time being, co-trainers Alper Kayabunar and Nicolas Masetzky will take over the training.
