Billionaire shipowner Evangelos Marinakis is apparently about to make his third investment in a European Premier League club
According to consistent Portuguese and Greek media reports, shipowner Evangelos Marinakis wants to invest in Portuguese first division club Rio Ave.
The relegation-threatened first division club is plagued by enormous financial worries. Initially, Marinakis wants to pour ten million euros into the club’s coffers to ensure that it can continue to play. In the medium term, the majority shareholding is also to be purchased.
