After his red card in the home match against SC Paderborn Hanover’s Julian Börner has been suspended for two matches.
The defensive player had been sent off with red by referee Christian Dingert in the 67th minute on Friday after an emergency stop against Paderborn’s Sven Michel.
Hannover defied the sending-off and picked up a point against Paderborn (0:0) 96 will now have to do without Börner in the next two games. The 30-year-old will be absent following a ruling by the DFB Sports Court this coming Saturday in Karlsruhe as well as in the northern duel against Hamburger SV on Sunday, 5 December.
Hannover 96 have agreed to the sentence.
