Karlsruhe SC will start team training again this Friday afternoon. Coach Christian Eichner, however, continues to be out.
While 15 Karlsruher SC players tested free from quarantine after the Corona outbreak the previous week, 13 of whom were given permission to return after a medical examination, coach Eichner tested positive again on Wednesday.
Full load only from Monday
The team can therefore resume training, but is initially only to complete a light unit. From next Monday, the KSC wants to put the players back under full strain. During the week, the non-infected professionals had only trained in a small group.
Last weekend, the number of Corona cases in the squad had risen to 19. In addition, there had been eight positive findings in the coaching and function team.
The league match against SV Sandhausen scheduled for last Sunday will now take place on 8 February.
On Saturday, 5 February the Badeners take on Bundesliga relegated SV Werder Bremen.
