After an eight-month ban, Ivan Toney recently celebrated his comeback on the real turf of the Premier League. EA SPORTS has responded by adding the England striker to FC 24

Ivan Toney scored 20 Premier League goals in 2022/23 – not for one of the big clubs on the island, but for Brentford FC. Toney was banned for eight months by the FA in May 2023. He had violated the English Football Association’s betting rules – he was accused of 262 cases. This ban expired in January and the 27-year-old has since been allowed to pull on the Bees’ jersey again. Toney scored in both of his first two Premier League games after his return.

EA SPORTS has reacted and added the goalscorer to FC 24 via a squad update. He can be played via kick-off, for example, but also in career mode. There, Toney has an overall rating of 80, and the publisher has also reactivated his old facescan. Penalty kicks (92), jumping ability (91) and finishing (85) stand out among Toney’s virtual attributes – and his overall rating can still increase by one point according to the potential. In Football Ultimate Team (FUT), on the other hand, he has yet to receive a card
