Premier League Clash Preview: Manchester United Vs Arsenal

Whereas United are 1% behind Arsenal with their pass accuracy and 2 own goals already. To top it off Arsenal have created 72 big chances whereas United have only created 57. After reviewing those stats and being knocked out the Champions League, United may enter the game with less confidence than usual on Sunday.

We feel that from looking at recent statistics for both teams it could be an extremely very close game. Both teams will be under a lot of pressure to be victorious this game. We feel that because of the pressure, both teams will be playing in their best form.

Right now United are ranked 2nd in the Premier League, 4 ranks ahead of Arsenal who is currently 6th.

Arsenal:

With beating West Ham 4-0 in their last Premier League match Arsenal have a lot to be proud of right now. Their top scorer for the season, Alexandre Lacazette is only three goals behind Romelu Lukaku, United’s current top scorer. The difference is Lacazette has those 13 goals across 30 games he’s played. Whereas Lukaku has scored 16 out of the 33 games he’s played for United.

Alexis Sanchez

Sunday’s game will bring a lot of pressure for Alexis Sanchez as he is playing his former club. Sanchez may be the next player to score both for and against the same team in the same Premier League season since Wilfried Bony.He has mentioned that he is still getting used to playing for Manchester United. “It is very different here,” said Sanchez. “I think United is a club with more history and we want to win trophies next year.

Aaron has expressed why he chose to join Arsenal over Manchester United in back in 2008. He felt that Arsène Wenger and his club wanted him more out of the two.
“I went up there to see the facilities and I went to see Arsene Wenger, he did a lot to try and get me to this club. As a 17-year-old, flying out on a private jet to his hotel was surreal but I think I made the right decision.”I just felt a bit more wanted by Arsenal and by the boss.”
