Pro Clubs: Team Germany wants to defend its World Cup title

Just a few weeks after missing out on winning the Euro Cup, the German Pro Clubs team is on a mission to defend its World Cup title in FIFA 22.

Since 2021, Team Germany has been allowed to call itself Pro Clubs World Champions. However, the opportunity to defend this title will not wait four years, as it does in real football, but will come as early as this summer. However, the disappointment of the last Euro Cup will have to be dealt with beforehand.

The team almost became European champions in early May. However, a 1:3 defeat over two individual games against Portugal shattered this dream in the final. Germany will nevertheless approach the World Cup as one of the top favourites – as defending champions, as befits their status.

Group with Moldova, Brazil and Spain

The global competition in FIFA 22’s realistic 11vs11 mode kicks off on 15 June, with Moldova as the opening opponent. Further group opponents are Brazil and Spain. The Iberians also took part in the Euro Cup 2022, but they did not meet in this context.

The format is similar to the European tournament: the duels will be decided in twelve-minute first and second legs with accumulation of the individual results. The German team is made up of the best players from the community teams, and the Pro Club mode has yet to receive recognition similar to that of FUT.

The games of the German team can be followed live on Twitch, starting against the Republic of Moldova on 15 June at 9 pm. The World Cup will conclude on 3 August with the final. A repetition of the triumph of 2021 – then against Italy – is the declared goal of the German Pro Club Team.
