Paris – After her defeat in the singles, the American Coco Gauff also lost the doubles final at the French Open.
The 18-year-old and her compatriot Jessica Pegula lost 6-2, 3-6, 2-6 to the French duo of Caroline Garcia and Kristina Mladenovic in Paris. In the singles, Gauff had been beaten 1-6, 3-6 by the Polish world number one Iga Swiatek the previous day.
