ADAC GT Masters 2022: Overview of drivers and teams

After two weeks of announcements, it’s time to take stock – 17 cars are confirmed, with more to come

After two weeks full of announcements, it’s time to take stock – 17 cars have been confirmed for the 2022 ADAC GT Masters. So far, 18 cars from five manufacturers have been confirmed. A field of 25 cars is expected.

The starting field in the German GT Championship is facing a major upheaval. For example, some teams have migrated to the DTM, especially from the previous financial upper class of the ADAC GT Masters. Some other teams, above all Callaway Competition, have also withdrawn for other reasons.

On the other hand, a number of new teams are joining the ADAC GT Masters. Emil Frey Racing can almost compensate for the loss of GRT Grasser with three Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo. Allied-Racing, ZVO, ID Racing and Madpanda Motorsport join them. In addition, a number of teams are stocking up their vehicle arsenal.

At least, vehicles from Landgraf and Car Collection are expected. In both cases, more than one vehicle is likely. Further teams are conceivable. The ADAC currently expects a starting field of 25 cars.
